Content Policy

How theSATfix creates, verifies, and maintains the quality of our practice content.

Last updated: March 1, 2026

1. Content Generation

theSATfix questions are generated by our AI-powered content engine using 40+ template families. Each template family covers a specific SAT skill and produces unique question variations. Questions are not copied from any existing SAT prep material or official College Board content.

2. Quality Assurance

Every generated question passes through our multi-stage quality gate before reaching students: • Answer Verification: Automated checks confirm the correct answer is mathematically or logically valid. • Distractor Analysis: Incorrect choices are evaluated to ensure they represent plausible mistakes without being misleading. • Difficulty Calibration: Questions are tagged with difficulty levels based on cognitive complexity and common error patterns. • Human Review: Questions flagged by automated checks are reviewed by subject matter experts before publication.

3. Content Standards

All theSATfix content adheres to these standards: questions are aligned to the College Board's SAT content domains and skill specifications; language is clear, unambiguous, and free from cultural bias; mathematical notation follows standard conventions; reading passages are original or properly attributed; and content is regularly reviewed for accuracy.

4. Accuracy Commitment

We maintain a target accuracy rate of 99%+ for correct answers and explanations. When errors are identified, they are corrected within 24 hours and affected students are notified. Users can report suspected errors through the in-app feedback system.

5. Content Updates

Our question bank is continuously expanded and refined. When the College Board updates SAT content specifications, we update our template families accordingly. Outdated questions are retired and replaced with updated versions.

6. Intellectual Property

All theSATfix questions, explanations, and educational content are original works created by our content engine and editorial team. SAT is a registered trademark of the College Board, which is not affiliated with and does not endorse theSATfix.

7. Reporting Issues

If you find a question with an incorrect answer, unclear wording, or any other issue, please report it using the flag button on the question interface or email content@thesatfix.com. We review all reports within 24 hours.
